#94. Update My Resume - Completed

I'm not planning on getting a new job but I do think it's important to update your resume yearly (and maybe more often depending on how your life changes; moving, new phone number etc).

The point is, if something happens to my job, writing up a resume will be the least of my worries now that it's done.

Some tips to remember when doing up your resume are:

• Use a basic font. Some employers won't take you seriously if you use a "cute" font.
• Keep it all to one page, to the point.
• Only list 3 to 4 previous jobs.
• Proof read, you don't want any spelling mistakes or errors that Word might miss.
• Don't be modest, sell yourself. You earned it!
